What's in a Name?
There is a story in the Bible in the book of Matthew chapter 25, where Jesus is telling a story to His followers. He is proud of His followers for giving Him clothing when He was naked, for giving Him something to drink when He was thirsty; for feeding Him when He was hungry, for coming to visit Him when He was in prison; for inviting Him in when He was a stranger, and for taking care of Him when He was sick.
His followers seemed confused. They called Jesus out. They questioned Him, and in effect told him they had not done those things to him, or for him, because they had never seen Him in need. In verse 40, Jesus replied to his followers saying basically this... when you have done these things in my name to people in need, you have done it to me.
Being a blessing in the name of Jesus is our goal every day.
